Newest 441 Wing Members

During the RCAFA 441 Wing September 10 meeting two new Wing members were inducted by RCAF Association Regional Director Les Ball.  Left to right are Les Ball; new members Monika Sergeant and Wanda Beaudoin; and Wing Chair Bill Sergeant.

441 Wing Member of the Year 2024

During the RCAFA 441 Wing September 10 meeting Wing Secretary Andy Galton presented the Member of the Year Award to Norm Marion.  Norm was also the guest speaker for that night, sharing his experiences as a UN peacekeeper in Cyprus in 1974.

Ontario Group Tommy Thomas Ambassador Award

Wing member Greg Merrill (left) was presented the Ontario Group Tommy Thomas Ambassador Award by Wing Chair Bill Sergeant.  The award recognizes Greg's numerous contributions to the Air Cadets of Ontario for over three decades

On behalf of the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Wing member Ferguson Mobbs (left) presents a Certificate of Appreciation to Wing Chair Bill Sergeant in recognition for the Wing's support in the town's RCAF 100th Anniversary celebrations.

On behalf of the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Wing member Ferguson Mobbs (left) presents a Certificate of Appreciation to Wing member Murray Conley in recognition for the Wing's Color Party's participation in the town's RCAF 100th Anniversary parade and celebrations.

Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers

Early in the meeting the Wing Chair, Bill Sergeant, presented the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers to Joep Diening in recognition for his dedication and commitment to 441 Wing and to various other community organizations along with the associated certificate.

8 October Guest Speaker: LCol Thinh Nguyen, Commandant RCAF Academy, 16 Wing Borden

Guest Speaker Lieutenant-Colonel Nguyen talked about NORAD based on his own experience through two tours with NORAD in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Wing members enjoyed the presentation.

Wing Chair Bill Sergeant thanks Guest Speaker Lieutenant-Colonel Thinh Nguyen for his talk on NORAD.
